When we focus on what we do not like

Earlier this week I shared a new shoulder workout with you! It was something I have been doing during my distal Bicep Tear Repair recovery.

I typically focus on BODY WEIGHT exercises but post surgery, those intense body weight exercises I have loved for so many years (like Tricep Dips, pull ups, chin ups, push ups and RING work) is off limits until I hit the 6 month recovery mark. So in this workout, I shared a light weight workouts.

I was actually SO SURPRISED reading your comments under the post on Facebook! So many of you “complimented my arms.” That may seem normal to you but here is what you did not know about me…

What you didn’t know about the shoulder workout I shared with you above and also on social media this week, was that my  own stories about my nerve damage , scars and and non working tricep… I was SO SELF CONSCIOUS about all of these things with my arms.
